In my work as a psychologist over the past thirty-five years I have had the privilege of meeting with men and women from all walks of life who were suffering. Their stories of trauma, grief and abuse have profoundly affected me. God has taught me many lessons as I have walked this path and has given me the great privilege of sharing these lessons with different audiences, including churches, women's conferences, professional conferences and humanitarian organizations on several continents.

The most fundamental lesson of those years has been the precious truth that the greatest factor in a human life is love and obedience to Jesus Christ. Love and obedience to Him alone produces fruit that is eternal. That and that alone results in glory to his peerless name.
